“My favorite part of our experience was the organic friendships that were made within the first few sessions of our Getaway. By the time our guests were decorating cookies, plans for lunch were already being made and phone numbers were exchanged. Community means so much to me personally, so the fact that this bond was formed instantly was so encouraging! It was affirmation that The Say it Southern Getaway was working. It was connecting women from all over the place - authentically and organically. Mom Camp.”

“My favorite moment of the Getaway was when everyone began to arrive for the welcome happy hour at the Bar Room in Grayton Beach. There was so much work put into the weekend & it was finally here. We were anxious about meeting everyone. Would they get along? Would they have fun? Would they like us? But as soon as the first guest arrived everyone began to mingle, laugh, make introductions & connections. I was then able to step back, look around & take a breath. I knew at that moment that the Getaway was going to be a success.”
