LindsAy Thomas
After years of running a successful designer pillow workroom, Lindsay, owner of Garland Bags, had amassed an impressive remnant collection. She was inspired to make a clutch for herself using some of her favorite fabrics, so she researched and tinkered with various methods and materials before completing a satisfactory prototype. Upon sharing a photo of the clutch she created on social media, Lindsay realized that there were quite a few kindred spirits who, like her, appreciated these exceptional textiles beyond their use in the home. Thus, Garland Bags was born.
Lindsay and her family live in Savannah, Georgia. Her Garland Bags have grown into a coveted collection that are featured in select boutiques and pop-ups across the country, and have a cult following on Instagram where they sell out within hours and days of being made available for purchase. She is a native of Atlanta, a graduate of the University of Georgia, the best wife Travis could ever hope for, and a mother to two phenomenal children.
Sunshine Tienda
Laura and Amanda Ernst, twin sisters and co-founders of Sunshine Tienda, share a profound love for travel and the joy it brings. In 2014, inspired by their adventures and fueled by their passion for fashion, culture, and people, they embarked on a journey to create a brand that embodies the spirit of happiness found on vacation.
With a simple mantra of "Be Vacation Happy," Laura and Amanda envisioned Sunshine Tienda as more than just a fashion line but as a lifestyle brand that encourages people to embrace a carefree and joyful mindset. Leisha Pickering
Leisha Pickering is a woman who believes her strength is conveyed through compassion, creativity, faith and love. As she shares stories from her life you will see compassion for people from all walks of life and creativity through ideas that bring beauty to the world. With faith as the foundation in her life, she is able to take risks and stay resilient in the face of adversity, with the belief that love is to be a full expression of one’s life.
Musee Bath began after seeing a need for employment in the local community. Leisha had the idea that a quality bath product, made by hand, could provide jobs for individuals. Moreover, she holds a guiding principle that everyone has value and that everyone should be valued - looking at one’s potential, not simply his or her past. Because of this, the Musee Makers are often women in recovery, individuals with disabilities, and others in need of work. It is Musee’s hope to create an environment of self-dignity and a place where people feel loved and encouraged.
From the humble beginnings in her kitchen, Musee quickly established itself in the bath product industry. Currently, Musee is the largest wholesale producer of bath balm in the country with 3,000 partnered stores in all 50 states. Musee has launched soaks, candles, soaps, shower steamers, and lotions with plans for new products in the near future.

We’re back at the Jubilee! Home base for the 2024 Getaway is at the fabulous Jubilee Suites Boutique Hotel. You and your Getaway Gals have the chance to stay ON PROPERTY for the duration of the retreat, enjoy breakfast together each morning, happy hours on the porch, and all the events held at the hotel - such as The Welcome Party, Yoga on the Lawn and bayside Bonfires.

Enjoy your bay view balcony for sunset viewing over Mobile Bay along with a beautiful living room, large dining table, and laundry room with washer and dryer.
The Camellia

The Charlotte

The Cypress

Located on the second floor of the west side, the Cypress features two bedrooms (one with a queen-size bed, one with a king-size bed, and both with smart TV), one full bathroom, and a bay view balcony for morning coffee sipping or sunset viewing over Mobile Bay. Also enjoy your fully-furnished eat-in kitchen with a table for 4 and a full-size laundry room with washer and dryer. Accommodates up to 4 adults.
The Dogwood

Located on the ground floor of the west side facing Mobile Bay, the Dogwood features two bedrooms (each with a queen-size bed and smart TV), a pullout sofa (queen-size), two full bathrooms, and a fully-furnished kitchen. Enjoy the sunset as you create a delicious meal on your patio complete with a grill, charcoal and grill tools. Although, you will not be grilling while in our care. Also includes a large great room, dining table, and laundry room with washer and dryer.
The Magnolia

Located on the ground floor of the west side, the Magnolia features one bedroom (with a king-size bed and smart TV), one full bathroom (shower only), and a ground floor patio facing the bay. Enjoy your fully-equipped kitchen to make your morning coffee or tea and any meals you would like to prepare. We’ll have you covered for breakfast and two dinners. You’ll also enjoy breakfast bar seating, a living room, complete laundry room, and spectacular bay view.
The New Orleans

Located on the first floor of the east side, the New Orleans lives up to its name with an entrance from our New Orleans-style courtyard, a beautiful space for morning coffee or evening cocktails. Features one bedroom (with a king-size bed and smart TV), one full bathroom, and a full-size laundry room. A completely-equipped kitchen with a table for 2 is just the right size for preparing snacks or meals. Also includes a living room with a desk.
The Satsuma
$1,600.00
The satsuma suite is a 2 bedroom, 1 Jack and Jill bathroom on the second floor. Both beds are queen. One is a Murphy bed. It has a balcony, full size washer and dryer, small refrigerator, microwave and coffee / tea bar. Everything you could need while staying on location where many of the events during the weekend will take place.

*Tickets to the Say It Southern Getaway are non-refundable after August 26, 2024. After August 26, 2024 the purchaser may transfer their ticket at their own discretion in lieu of a refund. Attendees must notify Say It Southern by email of transfer at hello@thesayitsouthern.com
*Getaway tickets are not included in the Jubilee Suite pricing. Each guest will need to purchase a Getaway Ticket.
*All bookings of the Jubilee through Say It Southern are final and non-refundable after June 25, 2024. Purchaser of the suite at Jubilee is welcome to transfer their booking to another Getaway attendee at their own discretion. Attendees must notify Say It Southern by email of transfer.
