Abbey is a classically trained designer who honed her skills at Central Saint Martins and the Rhode Island School of Design. Following her distinguished education, Abbey returned to her hometown of Atlanta to create couture gowns for women nationwide. Abbey, who began designing dresses at the young age of ten using her grandmother’s vintage Singer, was quickly met with a growing demand for both her point of view and custom-made products. Her appeal led to the launch of her namesake brand in 2015, harnessing her unique skillset to make designer style accessible with a full collection under $500. 

With a successful Flagship Store in Buckhead Village and growing e-commerce business, Abbey Glass raised $2M from a local Atlanta customer turned angel investor in 2023. The brand has since rapidly expanded its footprint as a leader in the attainable designer occasion market, opening two new retail locations in Charleston and Dallas, and launching with major retailers – Dillard’s and Over the Moon, all in 2024. Abbey Glass is proud to champion Southern-based design on a national scale—a true inspiration for those seeking encouragement to chase their own dreams. 

Abbey’s overall mission is to innovate the special occasion womenswear market and give women effortless confidence by providing high-quality design and luxury fabrics at an attainable price point. By first acknowledging the incredible opportunity of both the luxury apparel category ($82B) and the non-wedding dress apparel category ($6B), Abbey capitalized on identifying a strong core customer and meeting a need in the market through her offering of attainable special occasion wear. Abbey Glass has built a loyal community of women who appreciate quality fabric and thoughtfully designed, figure-flattering silhouettes that are approachable. She was able to implement the direct customer feedback she received in her Atlanta Flagship Store to identify the right new markets for her brand.
