Meet moonshiner, mom, entrepreneur & author, Jessi Baker. Jessi grew up in Gatlingburg, Tennessee where she worked with and modeled after the best in business. The best being her grandmother, also know as the Chief. Jessi’s grandmother owned and worked in the famous Ole Smoky Candy Kitchen. Jessi’s grandmother taught her the importance of being a responsible business owner. This entrepreneurial spirit was put in play when Jessi, alongside her husband, opened the Ole Smoky moonshine distillery. In this episode we learn how this business quickly grew to include food, wine, whisky & beer. Ole Smoky is now the most visited distillery in the world. Even with all that under her belt Jessi isn’t slowing down. She has a new cookbook out that includes family recipes and stories. And no, they aren't ALL “boozy”.
