Episode 47 | Dr. Cedric Hunter

Dr. Cedric Hunter | The Golden Standard

In Episode 47 we are talking with Dr. Cedric Hunter of University Plastic Surgeons in Memphis, Tennessee. We spoke with Dr. Hunter in episode 39 of our podcast and learned that Dr. Hunter is one of the few surgeons in the mid-south performing the DIEP reconstruction surgery. This is a fairly new technique and is changing the game for women who need breast reconstruction following a mastectomy or lumpectomy. We thought breast cancer awareness month would the perfect time to bring Dr. Hunter back so he can educate us all on this procedure that has so many benefits for women. Talk with your doctor or reach out to University Plastic Surgeons to learn more and find out if you are a candidate.
