Blue Pencil Home | Katie & Brooke

There’s so much to tell you about Katie and Brooke! First of all, what total lifesavers they are. Secondly, the near miracle we pulled off of organizing and repurposing my (Courtney’s) upstairs bonus room for the boys early Christmas present, and just how overall great they are at what they do.

This is just an introductory blog to them; I am going to post all of the pictures from the redo in a separate post, because yes, it deserves its own.

Their business, Blue Pencil home started over their shared love organizing and decluttering. They work closely alongside individuals and architects, creating customized solutions to organize the most challenging spaces.

Brooke, born and raised in Minnesota, and Katie, a native of Memphis, both attended Rhodes College in Memphis but didn’t meet until years later when their children became friends. The two women quickly realized they had much in common, most especially their passion for creating beautiful, functional, and simplified spaces in homes.

Brooke and Katie know well that downsizing, clean outs, and moving can be overwhelming. They help take this stress away and assist their clients in creating the right systems that support beauty and function. The two pride themselves on knowing which questions to ask their clients, achieving a vision for spaces evoking a sense of happiness and calm.
