Whew, this interview was a delicate one. Sarah and I have known that we wanted to talk about Human and Sex Trafficking for some time now and weren’t sure what avenue we wanted to do it with. We certainly don’t want to use scare tactics or fear mongering as a way to get information into the hands of parents just like us, but we also know how important it is to be having these discussions. With each other, with our children- at this day and age, knowledge is power.

We have had to opportunity to work closely with The Scarlet Rope Organization over the last few years and the lives they are changing is of miracle status. They help women find their worth again after a life of trafficking has left them abandoned, penniless and without hope.

Julanne Stone is the executive director and mother hen to these women, stepping into her true calling of restoration about 6 years ago.
